Tender awards in the Netherlands

The Netherlands publishes national procurement through TenderNed, one of the most openly accessible platforms in Europe, alongside above-threshold notices on TED. For subcontractors, that combination gives unusually good visibility of who won.

TenderNed and TED together

TenderNed exposes an open JSON interface covering national tender and award publications. Its award documents often hold the winner and value inside attached PDFs rather than structured fields, so CONTRACTNEXA cross-references TED to complete those facts instead of inferring them.

Coverage is built on official publications only. TED carries above-threshold notices for every EU and EEA market, and national platforms are added as their published interfaces allow reliable, auditable collection. Where a national source is not yet connected, that is stated rather than hidden.

Dutch project types that generate packages

  • Water management, dike, lock and dredging works.
  • Rail, road and tunnel infrastructure renewal.
  • Port and industrial works in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Zeeland.
  • Energy transition, grid and offshore-related onshore works.
  • Utility, housing and public building programmes.

Approaching after a Dutch award

Dutch main contractors run structured supplier onboarding, and many operate a supplier portal. Where a portal or verified procurement address is published, CONTRACTNEXA shows it as the commercial route; where nothing is published, no address is offered.

How CONTRACTNEXA turns an award into a subcontract lead

An award notice is the start of a buying cycle, not the end of one. Once a main contractor signs, it has weeks or months to place the packages it does not self-perform. CONTRACTNEXA reads the published award, resolves the winning company to a single verified identity, derives the work packages the scope implies, and shows the commercial route only where a published source supports it.

Facts are kept separate from inference. Winner name, contract value, currency, dates and location are shown with the source they came from; likely packages are labelled as derived. Nothing is invented, and unknown stays unknown.
